When Velocity began its exploration program at Rozino in mid-2017 it also started a comprehensive environmental assessment and monitoring program in the area. The Company is compiling an extensive record of trends and variations in local weather and water conditions. The data will help establish criteria for project exploration and development plans while protecting, preserving and reclaiming the local environment.
Local climate
At a weather station installed in the southern part of the village of Rozino, the local meteorological conditions are being monitored. Data such as air temperature and humidity, atmospheric pressure, precipitation, wind direction and wind speed are being recorded. Dust in the air is also being monitored at the same location.
